Dwayne Bergmann, Founder of Dwayne Bergmann Interiors, is a celebrated Interior Designer and Entrepreneur. Dwayne and Faith united to aid the community after hurricane Ian which sparked the idea from their long-time friendship. We’re stronger together. Dwayne acquired Freestyle in January 2023 with Faith continuing to run the Bonita Springs firm. Dwayne’s spectrum of his design work shows the constant passion he brings to what he creates.

Faith Fix, Founder of Freestyle Interiors in 1981 with over 45 years of experience in the Interior Design field. With her value of customer satisfaction at the forefront, Faith has directed Freestyle’s growth to become a prominent, SW Florida award-winning design firm. She has assembled a highly synergistic team of talented and experienced Lead Designers dedicated to creating beautiful environments. Faith works tirelessly to ensure that each of Freestyle’s clients are thrilled with their home design experience from inception to completion.

Velma Watkins has been an Executive Vice President for over 35 years in Retail Home Furnishings & Design. She has managed as many as 17 locations from Ohio to Northern Florida with over 250 employees. Velma is committed to provide exemplary service to our clients through her expertise as a buyer, team builder and strategic planner.

Arlynn McDaniel, Senior Lead Designer, is a licensed Interior Designer with over 25 years of design experience in both the interior design and construction fields. She graduated with a design degree from Brenau University in Georgia. Arlynn has been with Freestyle for 15 years; her clients benefit from her skilled knowledge of the construction process as well as her high attention to detail.

With a background in interior architecture and over 20 years of international design experience, Robyn Lang is an award-winning designer who brings a refined European perspective to luxury residential interiors. A LUXE Gold List Honoree and published designer in both the US and UK, she is recognized for creating sophisticated, thoughtfully curated spaces that balance timeless elegance with modern living.

Megan Hickman is a graduate of Purdue University and has over 15 years of residential design experience. As a former project manager, her knowledge of the construction process is an asset to her design method. Megan is known for her unique way of adding color in her interiors which have been featured in several publications including Luxe Magazine where she was honored to be on the LUXE Gold List 2025.

Michelle Stahl, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the Institute of Interior Design at SW Florida College. Michelle has been with Freestyle for 14 years. She has a passion for interior architecture and has been featured in local magazines showcasing her comfortable interior styling.

Stacey Prerost, Lead Designer, is a graduate of Harrington College of Design in Chicago and has over 15 years of experience in high end residential design. She has a strong background in construction and project management and is dedicated to creating beautiful spaces that balance both form and function. Her work has been featured in several publications.

Stephanie Fraleigh, Lead Designer with 7 years experience, is a graduate from the University of Colorado, with a strong background in high-end residential interior design. Stephanie blends her attention to detail with creativity to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently while preserving a fun, professional, and seamless process for all.

Lis Diaz, Lead Designer, has over 25 years experience in the Interior Design Industry. She holds NCIDQ certification as well as LEED ID+C accreditation. As an award-winning designer Lis possesses an innate desire to create and design interiors that exceed client’s expectations. Lis received her bachelor degree in Interior Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art, one of the top ten professional colleges of art and design, established 1882.

Maria Meliton graduated from University of Pittsburgh and practiced pediatric dentistry for over 31 years. Initially a Freestyle client, Maria joined our firm to fulfill her passions of Social Media, Marketing and Décor. She has become a valued member of our team.

JamieLynn Bucci, Project Manager, is a graduate of the University of Florida and has been working in hospitality design for golf and country clubs, spas, and fitness centers for over five years. JJamielynn is a valued Project Manager, creating smooth and expeditious design and installation processes with her strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.

Alyssa Davis, Project Manager, is a graduate from Liberty University with a bachelor’s in Interior Design and Minor in Psychology. Alyssa loves to use her understanding of people to create meaningful relationships. Her love of emerging design trends keeps her constantly looking towards what’s innovative for each and every new project.

Natalie Dowling, Project Manager, is a graduate from Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts. Natalie has over 12 years’ experience in SWFL in luxury residential field managing projects. Her organization skills, professional relationships and strong design background create a unique design experience

Lauren Miller, Project Manager, is a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Design and a Minor in Sustainability. Lauren enjoys balancing beautiful design with the functional aspects of everyday life. Her organizational skills foster a smooth design process for our clientele.

Deb Patterson, Order Entry and Order Processing, is from Illinois and attended college in Peoria. She worked in the building industry for 12 years and at a flooring company for 6 years prior to joining Freestyle in 2019. Deb is the senior member of our Admin team. Her reliability and knowledge make her a valued member of our team.

Robert Taylor, Delivery Manager, is from Pittsburgh. He worked with a prominent interior designer in Pittsburgh for 35 years before moving to SW Florida. Bob has many skills including careful attention to detail and a high service orientation which makes him appreciated by our clients and a valued team member.

Brittany LaMothe, Order Expeditor, is from Fort Myers and has a Business degree in Administrative Management. She worked in customer service for over 13 years before joining Freestyle. Brittany enjoys planning and organizing which makes her a valued member of our team in ensuring our orders are flowing smoothly.

Alex deRoulet, Librarian, is from Los Angeles and has an interior design degree from Cuyahoga College. She has over 12 years of experience in  custom window treatments. Alex’s passion for design and art compliments her work at Freestyle as she focuses on careful attention to the details in all she does.

Cassandra has joined us from New York, after a lifetime in Hospitality & Event Design. Her work on producing Art Events, allows for a deep understanding of Curating for connection. Cassandra provides an engaging and heartfelt experience for each client. Her tailored experiences also extend to the design team, with project support, and inspiring industry gatherings.
